Hi everyone! I’m back with another Top Ten Tuesday post and this week’s prompt is to list the The Ten Most Recent Additions to My Bookshelf.
I love doing these type of posts. I’ve never written blog posts about book hauls, mostly photographed them and posted them on IG. Today I’m listing some of the latest additions to my shelf, most of these books I’ve listed below are gifted or received for review.
I loved the last Sophie Hannah book I read so I’m eager to start Perfect Little Children
I’ve already read Rules for Vanishing already and oh boy..it was so spooky!!
Added it to my bookshelf because I love the cover and the synopsis of Woven in Moonlight
Diamond City: Got this as a review copy!
Got a review copy of The Shadows between Us. Read it in a day and loved it!
I didn’t read Fix Her Up by Tessa Bailey so I’m super glad I got a copy of Love Her or Lose Her to read from the publisher!
Husband Material is yet romance I’ve added recently to my bookshelf.
Added Don’t Read The Comments to my Goodreads TBR so long ago and recently received a copy from the publisher.
Received a review copy of Tweet Cute and had loads of great things about it from my blogger friends!

Anticipated 2020 book releases on my list | a post after 27365535 years
Hi everyone! It does feel more than a million years since I last posted on here. I’ve been writing blog post ideas but never could I get my fingers to type up one. Will I do better at posting in 2020? Who knows..but I’ll try my hardest. While I was away from blogging, I was posting on Instagram so follow me, if you’re there!
I had a list of 2020 releases written up but I lost it, so I had to compile another one and uhh..this is not a Top Ten list as that is way too much pressure for me.. SO, here are some book releases I’m eagerly awaiting and this is only Part I!

WWW Wednesdays #13: Weekly Reading Update
Hi everyone! Happy Wednesday(after a long time!) and welcome to my weekly reading update post or the WWW Wednesdays. It’s been a long time since I posted my last WWW Wednesdays update and my blog posts have been pretty sporadic as well. I’m mostly active on Instagram these days and have two giveaways going on (on) my feed. Without any further ado, let me tell you what I’ve been reading this week and what I intend to read next.

I’m currently eyeing The Vanished Bride, gifted by Berkley, as my next read. I’ll start it as soon as I finish writing this post and a review. The story is about Charlotte Brontë, Emily Brontë, and Anne Brontë before they became famous writers. It’s described as a “charming historical mystery” and I can’t wait to read it!
My last read was The Lying Room by author duo Nicci French and it was gifted by William Morrow. This was my first Nicci French and I had high hopes for this one but it fell flat. I was not “hooked” throughout and had problems with the characters as well. The twist was unexpected and I loved that “shock” element but overall, it was kind of underwhelming.
I think I’ll pick up The Bone Houses by Emily Lloyd-Jones after I finish The Vanished Bride. I got it in my Owlcrate September rep box(Use RAMBLER10 for 10% discount) and have planned to readalong with a couple of bookstagram folks.
Anyone noticed that the choices are perfect from Spooktober? It was a coincidence, well..not entirely.

Five Marriage of Convenience books you’ll love
Hey everyone! Today’s India’s Independence Day and on that note of freedom, I’m presenting you a list of books with one of my favourite romance tropes, Marriage of Convenience. If you’re unfamiliar with Marriage of Convenience or are baffled at why I including many readers are addicted to tropes like these, then let me explain.
Marriage of Convenience is marrying someone out of necessity; either one of them is in danger, or in need of money, or need of citizenship..anything goes. Now, does Arranged Marriage equal Marriage of Convenience? Not really, the lines are blurry between the two. Of course, this is not the ideal foundation of a happily married life but sometimes in fiction and even in real life, love develops in mysterious ways. Love ensnares you when you’re missing someone’s smile or their nagging. Without any further ado, let’s scroll down and view what books must be on your radar if you love reading about Marriage of Convenience..
Marriage for One by Ella Maise
I can’t tell you exactly what their “convenience” is but you NEED to read this book!! The hero Jack is super Grumpy Mcgrumperson but he soon develops to Mcdreamy as the book progresses. The romance is slow burning but you’ll love it, I promise. Oh, and guess what the heroine’s name is? It’s Rose.. get it? Jack and Rose..
Serpent and Dove by Shelby Mahurin
Serpent and Dove will be out next month and you should absolutely read it!! Here the heroine Lou and the hero Reid (I even love his name) get married because they were caught in a compromising situation. I would say it’s more of an NA historical fantasy rather than YA.
The Duchess Deal by Tessa Dare
Big fan of Tessa Dare’s books! just thought I’d point that out.. Anyway, our hero is war vet Duke of Ashbury or Ash and he needs an heir ASAP. ok, I don’t know why I just laughed So, for the heir business, he needs well, you know..a female “worthy” of a Duke. However, it seems that most of the noble ladies are extremely vain so imagine his surprise when his bride Emma knocks on his door in a wedding dress, no less!!
The Wall of Winnipeg and Me by Mariana Zapata
Mariana Zapata’s books are like chocolate to me. This book was like one of my favourite milk chocolate. The hero is broody or as I like to say Grumpy McGrumperson but there is of course, a slow burn romance that will melt you but you’ll still love it. Our heroine Vanessa is frustrated at her job and after she quits said job, she finds her boss at her freaking door offering to marry her.
The Bride Test by Helen Hoang
Technically, there was no “marriage” but there was an intent of it. Esme is brought over to the US by Khai, our hero’s mother. She wants Khai to get married and give her grand babies but unfortunately for her and Esme, Khai won’t marry anyone because he doesn’t do love. Diversity rep + unique view of immigration problems + autistic rep + single mother..I could go on and on why you should read this but here’s my full review.
