Hello everyone! Today I’m going to be reviewing Mexican Gothic by Silvia Moreno-Garcia, published by Quercus Books(UK) on June 30th. The first book I read and loved by Moreno-Garcia was The Gods of Jade And Shadow. Mexican Gothic proved to be even more of a captivating and stunning book.

I am a huge fan of Jennifer Armentrout’s books and when I was offered an ARC of this novella The King , I had to start reading it immediately! I’m also listening to The Bookish Life of Nina Hill, which I’ve been seeing on bookstagram a lot.
Spin the Dawn by Elizabeth Lim was the last book I finished. It was on the list of my most anticipated books for the first half of 2019 and it wasn’t spectacular nor was it disappointing. I’ll share my thoughts soon. I also finished reading Patron Saints of Nothing, another anticipated read of mine, and I loved it so much.
All the books except The Bookish Life of Nina Hill are ARCs provided in exchange for honest reviews.

I can’t read two books at a time so…no, I’m not reading Slayer and Little Darlings both at the same time. I’m currently reading Slayer and after finishing it, I’ll jump right in to Little Darlings.
I finished reading Nocturna by Maya Motayne and What Red Was by Rosie Price recently. One was a fantasy while the other was a literary fiction.
